Sherri Shepherd

My appearance on Sherri Shepherd was, of course, fun but also meaningful. Being on the show and chatting about my life was great. We talked cousin Snoop, brother Joshua, life and career. However, it was the time I got to spend backstage with Sherri before the show that impacted me. Sherri is just a ball of love, faith, family, and positive energy. What you see is really what you get with her. She is also a huge champion of women – all of which was on display when she came to my dressing room. As soon as we met, Sherri hugged me, took me by the hands, and said how much she admired, related to, and was behind my story and career decision. As to the latter, she told me what a great example it was, and I am for women. To hear that from someone like Sherri meant so much. On a side note, what I also love about Sherri, besides how down to earth she is, is the fact that she is a celebrity who genuinely loves and appreciates wrestling. You all know what we go through as talent, but it’s always nice when Hollywood talent recognizes it, too. I felt I made a great and genuine connection with Sherri and look forward to getting to know her better.
