“Come See Me- Come Find Me” & IG Inspiration

People have been wondering who I was talking about in my post-fight comments when I said, ‘Come see me, Come find me.’ Really, I’m speaking to any girl who thinks that she is a better fighter than me. I don’t know who that might be, but I remain committed to facing the absolute best wrestlers and performers – which is why I came to AEW. I’m here to face new opponents and to make magic with a lot of women. I reiterate my ongoing goal to promote and uplift our part of the craft. I want to give any woman in the world the opportunity to steal my spotlight – though I don’t think they can.

An old friend of mine from Sirius XM, Erik Nagel, shared an Instagram reel from one @misskatefabe with members of my team. Lately, it seems like there are so many people who use my name and negative criticism around my name as clickbait. For the most part, I shake it off as I know what their intentions are and also that I chose this life. Still, every now and again, when you are actually seen, when someone gets you when your talents, efforts, and true intentions are acknowledged, it feels good and merits a shout-back in return.

@misskatefabe’s reel about me followed my NJP title defense in DC. This girl hit the nail right on the head in doing so. Like I said, I felt as nervous at DC as I did at Wembley. I also invested as much effort into the match with Momo as I did with Britt and was equally as grateful to Momo and NJP as I was to Brit and AEW. This appeared evident to @misskatefabe, and she made it known on her IG.

I hope that, in addition to entertaining her in the ring, I inspired her and others in pursuit of their passions. Lead with your heart, and when you commit to something, you give it your all, no matter how much you paid or how big or small the task appears.

Excerpt of @misskatefabe post here:

“So I went to capital collision this weekend and it was incredible…but I was especially thinking about Mercedes Moné …after the match we got this really beautiful heartfelt speech from her and I was just thinking about how the week before she was doing that in front of 50,000 people and this was like 1800 ish but she treated that crowd with the same care and integrity … I think that’s part of what makes you the best in the world is giving that much care and integrity and just giving that much in general about every single match … I just felt really inspired by that and it’s something that as a non-wrestler I’ll be taking with me into the next week and into this new month of September….”
