LA Tech Week- Angela Dalton, Cordell Broadus and Notef Kawamoto

Last week I had such an amazing time at LA Tech Week! It was a last-minute thing- but when Angela Dalton, ‘Aunt Angela’ calls you, of course, you head that way! I was honored to be featured as a speaker at the Signum Growth Dot Play event in the Hollywood Hills. It was so awesome to surround myself with so many other entrepreneurs, CEOs, and other people who are interested in technology and gaming!

I first met Angela through my advocate Keven Undergaro, and his wife Maria Menounos. Kev is big on connecting like-minded people and especially on connecting me with those outside of our industry. As Kev predicted, Angie and I instantly connected- we have so many things in common and I’m proud to say she is another mentor in my life. I always learn so much from her, and she is just really fun to be around and learn from, too. Angela is a true pioneer not only in emerging entertainment, gaming and tech- she has over two decades under her belt in finance, emerging tech and of course gaming. She is founder and CEO of Signum Growth Dot Play, which invests and advises at the intersection of emerging technologies, gaming and entertainment – the future! She has also been an active member of the Polkadot network community since 2019 When I say she is a CEO Sensei, I’m not just making that up. Angela Dalton is THE lead adviser to THE Cathie Wood—world renowned CEO of ARK Invest. Many call Cathie the CEO of CEO’s, and even she leans on Angela for guidance. So, like I said- when Angela Dalton calls- you show up!

One of the coolest parts of the event was all of the people I got to surround myself with! It was amazing to sit on the panel with CEO Notef Kawamoto of NEIGHBOR game studio in Japan and my first Cuz Cordell Broadus – Snoop Dog’s son – who together lead Death Row Games. It was so fun to talk to Notef about tech, and of course. Japan- since I am a two-time champion there and a huge fan of that country and culture. Just to be able to step into this field is really amazing for me.
