What an exhilarating week I had in Boston! I brought my little sis, AK, and my incredible protégé, Jahaida, along for the ride. It was a whirlwind of excitement as so many people flew in to celebrate our AEW special show, SpringBreak Thru! From my auntie, who came all the way from Iowa, to my amazing business managers hailing from California and Tennessee and my dedicated team from Florida, it felt like a true family reunion. The energy in the air was electric, and knowing that so many fans also came from out of state to join us for this historic event made it all the more special. Thank you all for your unwavering love and support. Each moment we share together, whether in the ring or out in the world, means the world to me
Now, let’s talk about media days. Oh, the love-hate relationship I have with them! It really comes down to the vibe of the day — who I’m talking to, the questions I’m asked, and, of course, the early start times. As women, we often need to carve out those extra hours for hair and makeup, while the guys can just throw on their outfits and go. It’s a whole production! But you know what? I cherish those moments to dress up and embrace my feminine side. When I step into that spotlight, it’s my chance to shine, and oh, did I sparkle this time in a stunning sequined business suit!
Bringing my little sis along was such a joy. I wanted to show her the ropes of handling media, and we made some unforgettable memories together. We hit up some amazing spots around the city —from 98.5 The Sports Hub- Boston to CBS & NBC! One of the highlights was meeting the cutest little puppies. I mean, who can resist those adorable faces? I’m a total sucker for dogs and puppies? They’re just pure joy!
The media hustle continued; we made our way to a VIP experience of View Boston at the Prudential Center, and let me tell you, the view of Boston from up there is breathtaking. If you ever find yourself in this beautiful city, you absolutely must check it out!
A huge shoutout to my good friend Jay for taking me to Fenway Park afterward. There’s something surreal about being able to call a friend who opens the whole park just for me to sit and reminisce. My love for this city runs deep, and moments like these remind me why.
Finally, we wrapped up the day with some delicious pizza from Keven’s go-to spot, Pizzeria Regina, where he used to hang out. And let me tell you, it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had!
