Snoop and Cordell were part of a huge popup event in New York City. When I got the call from Snoop inviting me to attend the event, I knew it was going to be amazing. No one in New York knew what was happening. Everyone was so excited. The buzz of the crowd was just incredible. Times Square, all the way down the famous stairs, was filled with people. Everyone was asking, shouting, whispering, who is going to perform… what is happening… it felt like the entire city was shut down in anticipation. Then Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice came out! My whole life I have grown up watching the ball drop in Times Square, but that felt like nothing compared to this.
At the event, it was announced that Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice Wrld were all going to be in Fortnite. Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice went on to perform at the Fortnite event in NYC Times Square. Snoop sang about six songs, a mix of classics like Drop it Like it’s Hot and a couple of newer ones. It was epic.
