This month’s reminder:
STOP WAITING FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION TO ENJOY YOUR OWN LIFE.
Wear the outfit.
Try the restaurant.
Take yourself somewhere.
Buy yourself flowers.
Take the picture even if nobody else understands why you need 37 versions of the same pose.
There are moments when I’ve caught myself saving things for “later.”
Later when I have somewhere important to go.
Later when somebody can come with me.
Later when everything is perfect.
But why does everything have to be perfect before we allow ourselves to enjoy it?
I’m learning that sometimes…
