A true champion like myself knows that the day ain’t over after the match. There’s the press, of course, but then, even more importantly, there is a big ol’ afterparty celebration that has to match! My advocate, my assistant, and the rest of Team Moné surprised me with an amazing celebration at a Japanese Karaoke Club in Queens that was out of this world and absolutely worth the no sleep I had after the fact getting on the plane back to Boston. I couldn’t show up empty-handed, of course; I mean, two titles, yes, in hand, but you know your girl has to have her tequila and mescal! Thanks to, once again, my dear friend George Clooney himself, I showed up with a personally custom-painted bottle of Casa Migos that was beautiful and bodacious! Thank you, George!! Now, what better way to bond with your AEW family than with karaoke, cocktails, and cake! My Wrestling friends Zack Sabre Jr., Prince Nana, Daniel Garcia, Mina Shirakawa, Stephanie Vaquer, El Phantasmo, as well as 15 of my beloved AEW and Moné team members, showed up after a long day at 1am where we danced and debuted our singing careers until 4:30 in the morning when I had to run to the hotel to pack and rush to the airport to make my 6am flight out of there! No sleep needed when you’re surrounded by sweet people, sweet treats, and sweet serenading voices to Oasis, Backstreet Boys, and Carrie Underwood’s revenge hit before he cheats!! Yep, that will forever live on as the most iconic afterparty to ever happen.
