January 26th is a popular day for wrestling birthdays—and as someone who shares this special date, I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate! Let’s kick it off with a legendary CEO shoutout to the unforgettable Road Warrior Hawk (1957), aka Michael James Hegstrand, one-half of the iconic Road Warriors (or “Legion of Doom”) alongside Road Warrior Animal. His contributions to tag team wrestling are truly timeless.
Next, let’s celebrate Taylor Wilde (1986), the fierce Canadian wrestler best known for her electrifying matches in TNA Wrestling, and Tyler Rust (1987), former NXT Superstar who brought undeniable skill to the ring. And how could we forget The Maestro (1973), who carries the legacy of his uncle, the legendary Gorgeous George!
But the celebration doesn’t stop there. This week is packed with wrestling greatness, including names like Pat Patterson, R-Truth, Tyler Breeze, Karl Anderson, Ivan Putski, Maryse, Tully Blanchard, Leilani Kai, Alex Silva, Mike Awesome, Honky Tonk Man, Michelle McCool, Jay Briscoe, and Mark Andrews, Will Hobbs.
